Oklahoma artist Brooks Wilson has been carving decorative duck decoys for as long as he can remember. Since retiring from construction in 2021, Brooks spends his days carving in the woodshop or painting in his art studio, which he built in early 2023. Brooks Wilson Art is located near Langley, OK in the South Grand Lake area. The studio gallery is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and other days by appointment by calling or texting 918-924-6747. In addition to songbird and waterfowl woodcarvings, original paintings, fine art prints, and note cards are available for purchase.
